Our lofty 100% pure merino Wool Filled Mattress Pad does much more than protect your mattress. It's the natural choice to help you create the perfect sleeping environment in comfort, support, temperature control, and humidity for a better quality sleep. Wool naturally traps heat to insulate. But it does more than that. Wool absorbs water, wicks away moisture releasing it into the atmosphere allowing it to evaporate keeping you completely dry and comfortable no matter what the temperature. It works as the bed's natural climate control unit due to it's amazing ability to warm and cool. Pure new wool absorbs 30% moisture more than its weight without feeling clammy. This not only makes it comfortable for the person sleeping, but it lowers the humidity creating an inhospitable environment for dust mites. Since it naturally absorbs moisture into its core, fires are naturally extinguished so it needs no added chemicals that can irritate your skin.

Our pure new wool is gathered from sheep living in pasture land. The best quality wool for bedding comes from merino X-bred sheep, which are mainly native to France and yield a very fine long staple strong crimped wool fiber. This naturally strong fiber has a naturally strong crimp in them which gives them a springy support that cradles the body providing support for your pressure point and adds gentle cushioning and natural comfort to your bed helping you enjoy a deeper, more restful sleep. Dry clean only.
