Sheets Buying Guide

Imagine decorating your bedroom. Your bedding set looks fantastic and your pillows are soft, yet firm enough to keep you rested. Everything is in place, and it is time to find a sheet set. The following steps should be considered to ensure comfort and a proper fit:

step one bed size
Bed sheets should feel like luxury sheets. Bed sheets upon which you yourself will be sleeping, should especially feel like luxury sheets, even after being washed many times. Bed sheets for your kids should feel like luxury sheets to your kids, even if they are just twin sheets, and feel less than ideal to you.

Choosing the right bed sheet starts with the very basic size information. Knowing the right size might sound simple, and when shopping for Queen sheets or Full sheets, the size is the size. But a Twin sheet is not always a Twin sheet, and a King sheet is not always a King sheet. If your Twin bed is an XL, a standard Twin sheet will come up short. And if you have a King bed, it might be a California King bed. That being the case, you definitely want a Cal King sheet.

step two luxury and thread count

There are two main factors to consider when choosing your bed sheets. The material is the first factor, and the thread count, which is often overrated, is the other factor.

Egyptian Cotton Sheets are a favorite for a soft luxurious feeling sheet, and Bamboo Sheets are the bed sheet material growing faster than any other in the luxury sheet market. Silk Sheets and Sateen Sheets are also favorites in the luxury sheet arena.

Thread count ranges from as few as 100 to more than 1,000. A really great feeling bed sheet, at a very affordable price, when you consider that you will spend nearly one third of your life on this luxury bed sheet, is 100% cotton, 300 Thread Count Sheet.

step three sheet fit

Bed sheets include a fitted bottom sheet, a flat sheet, and the appropriate pillow case, or pillow cases. The flat sheet in Queen sheet sets will fit every queen bed. The flat sheet in a King will fit a king bed, and a Cal King flat sheet will fit a Cal King bed. Depending on the other bed linen, mattress toppers, and mattress pads, that you use, there will be an impact as to how well the bottom fitted sheet actually fits. Deep pocket sheets, meaning the corner pockets of the fitted sheet are bigger than standard, make the fit of your luxury sheets, a luxury fit.

Considering the above, the only thing left for you to do is choose the color and/or pattern!
